The City of Chamblee was incorporated by the Georgia legislature on August 17, 1908. It is one of eight cities located within DeKalb County.The City of Chamblee is 2,009 acres or 3.5 square miles. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, Chamblee is comprised of 9,552 people.
Points of Interest include: Antique Row, DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, International Village, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Nancy Creek Cemetery, Prospect Cemetery. Chamblee City Parks include: Keswick Park (This is Chamblee's largest park, covering more than 45 acres), Clairmont Park (Completed in 1999, A small rectangular neighborhood park), Huntley Hills Park, Shallowford Park, Village Park, Peachtree Park (In the center of Chamblee's downtown, adjacent to City Hall).
